In accordance with her wishes, a burial service will be held for Lewis at 11:00 a.m. The family is grateful for the loving care given to Lewis by his many friends, the staff at the Mountain Ridge Assisted Living Center, and Debbie Johnson of Inspiration Hospice Services. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Susie Bailey, son-in-law, Richard Taylor (Bonnie), eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, Curry stepchildren and several nieces, nephews and loving friends.īefore his death he had a daughter, Wendy King Taylor, brother Jay Bailey and his sister/cousin, Gwyla Nelson. Lewis is survived by her children, Deborah Gill (John) from her first husband, and Vicki King and Mike King (Bonnie) from her second husband. She was the sole provider of their four children for many years. She will be remembered for her loving kindness, her famous chocolate, and her sense of humour (scare kids on Halloween by pulling their teeth out and stocking their faces.) She was a devoted mother and a woman of determination. Lewis will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. She was also a service missionary in the inner-city of Ogden and volunteered at the Ogden Utah Temple. Throughout his life, he served tirelessly in several leadership positions in his Latter-day Saint ward. With his daughter Vicki, he volunteered as a therapy dog handler at Ogden Regional Hospital and Salt Lake Airport. He spent time as Weber County Attorney and victim’s attorney for the Weber-Morgan Children’s Justice Center. Louise had the gift of compassion and was a loving friend and caregiver for the rest of her life. After moving to Ogden in 1975, he managed Quality Quick Print. He graduated from Provo High School and worked at his father’s business, Bailey’s Moving and Storage. While growing up, Lewis learned the value of hard work from his parents.
